B.I.G. (Bjarke Ingels Group) is a pretty BIG deal in the architecture/design world.  While many criticize the firm’s output for being ‘blocky’ and semi-derivative of something along the lines of Minecraft, others (and Trenderfriend included) think their design solutions are pretty ingenious.

Such is the case for a fascinating new project in Amsterdam, that B.I.G. has collaborated on with Barcode Architects:

The design is the winner of a competition for a mixed-use project along the water in Amsterdam, a highly progressive city known for it’s cutting edge design…and this stunner is no different.

More images and in-depth information about the design await you at Dezeen.
