No denials, anymore

Climate change is real, and while it’s long-term effects on our planet may not yet be fully understood, science is providing unprecedented insight into the short-term movements of perhaps the biggest factor contributing to our world’s climate issues: Carbon dioxide.

Using a combination of satellite data and high-powered computer simulations utilizing predictive atmospheric models, scientists at NASA were able to create a revelatory simulation of how carbon dioxide travels around our planet’s atmosphere.  It’s beautiful and simultaneously terrifying, knowing what damage such large amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere are causing to Earth’s climate.

If you’d like to learn more about how climate change is altering humanity’s future, head over to NASA’s site that is specifically devoted to this ongoing threat.
